Born in Port-de-Paix, Haiti on August 13,1963 Albott Bonhomme has studied at Maximilien Coicou School in his home town, in northwest Haiti. Later in 1985 he graduated as an industrial mechanic from the Technical and Commercial Training School of Port-au-Prince.

From 1986 to 1989 he studied painting by himself, applying his natural manual skills to develop his unique style. He began professional painting 1990 and lives now exclusively from his art.

This artist has developed a very personal style depicting colorful birds in lush vegetation and misty atmosphere of tropical jungles. The tones of his greens are particularly rich and various and the birds are presented in vibrant tints.

He used acrylic on canvas.

His works are exhibited in Japan, France, the Caribbean Islands and the U.S.A.

Né à Port-de-Paix, Haïti le 13 Aout 1963. Albott Bonhomme a fait ses études à Maximilien Coicou dans sa ville natale au Nord d'Ouest d'Haïti. Plus tard en 1985 il est diplome comme mécanicien industriel à l'école Technical and Commercial Training à Port-au-Prince.

De 1986 à 1989 il étudie seul la peinture, en développant son propre style. Devenu professionel en 1990 il vit maintenant exclusivement de son art. Exposant dans le monde entier , particulièrement au Japon.

Cet artiste a développé un style très personnel: des oiseaux très colorés crois- sants dans une vegetation luxuriante. Ses tons de vert sont particulièrement riches et variés et les oiseaux sont présentés dans des nuances chaudes.

Ses oeuvres sont exposées au Japon, en France, dans les Caraîbes et les Etats-Unis.
